About the Role
The single most important lever for Moov’s growth is the successful scaling and training of our talent across our teams, with a particular focus on the sales function. We have a stellar class of incoming Business Development Representatives joining our existing Account Executive team, and are looking to refine and scale our existing sales training processes, documentation, and programs. The Sales Trainer team will be instrumental in Moov’s growth story, being the strategic and operational partners to the Sales leadership in crafting and executing training programs. You will work closely with our leadership team, sales teams, and product teams and drive standardization and adoption of best practices for the sales team across our offices.

This role offers significant growth potential as the Sales teams continue to grow and Moov expands into a variety of business lines.

Core Functions

  • Serve as the center of excellence for Moov Sales processes and documentation
  • Design and execute BDR training programs ensuring they are fit for purpose
  • Partner with Sales and Product leadership to continually refine and scale training programs and materials
  • Work with third parties to create compelling, actionable sales training materials
  • Help build capability efforts (including standardized competency framework/mentor program/functional onboarding material) – ensuring we build a world-class training function
  • Provide consultative support on all matters related to sales development and training
  • Implement improvements in technology and process that optimize the sales development experience and minimize administrative burden
  • Encourage a culture of continuous development for people, processes, and technology
  • Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement across the team
  • Support onboarding of new sales team members
  • Absorb best practices from our senior AEs and codify into training programs

Key requirements

  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in the design and execution of sales training and development programs - in particular brokerage and/or B2B technology sales
  • Experience and success in the facilitation of training programs, working with varying levels of sales professionals
  • Deep process and documentation orientation, with experience building training materials that are clear, compelling, and exhaustive
  • You have a “roll-up-your-sleeves” startup mentality
  • Comfort with making decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Proven ability to drive business results without significant supervision
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have an ownership mindset and are proactive about optimizing processes and tools
  • You are passionate and obsessed about technology
  • Interest and ability to work with cross functional teams in addition to Sales, such as Product and Engineering
